NGI’s open system architecture (OSA) has enabled the design of a common apparatus in both the fully digital and analogue avionics field. By introducing the new Open System Architecture, dedicated HW modules can be present in the base configuration to create the right configuration, adaptable and scalable, required by customers and their application, minimizing the delivery time of the solution and other related costs. This design allows a family of products to be created to cover initial installation as well as secondary and tertiary retrofit for the rotary and fixed wing market.
